✨ Kenroku-en Night Illumination – Early Summer 2026

One of Kanazawa’s most beautiful seasonal events,
the Kenroku-en Night Illumination transforms the famous garden into a magical landscape after sunset.

Held during the Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival, this special event allows visitors to enter Kenroku-en Garden at night free of charge and experience a completely different atmosphere from the daytime.

Soft lights illuminate the garden’s iconic features such as the famous Kotoji Lantern, historic stone bridges, trees, and ponds, creating a peaceful and dreamlike scenery unique to early summer.

At the same time, Kanazawa Castle Park and Gyokuseninmaru Garden are also illuminated, allowing visitors to enjoy a beautiful evening walk through some of Kanazawa’s most historic areas.

Special performances and concerts are sometimes held inside the garden during the event, adding traditional Japanese atmosphere to the experience.

This is one of the best opportunities to experience Kanazawa at night and highly recommended for photography lovers.

✨ 兼六園ライトアップ 〜初夏の段 2026〜

金沢を代表する、初夏の人気イベントのひとつ。
兼六園ライトアップでは、昼間とはまったく違う幻想的な夜の兼六園を楽しむことができます。

金沢最大のお祭り「金沢百万石まつり」にあわせて開催され、期間中は夜の兼六園が無料開放されます。

園内では、有名な徽軫灯籠（ことじとうろう）や池、石橋、木々などがやさしく照らされ、
初夏らしい静かで美しい景色が広がります。

さらに、金沢城公園や玉泉院丸庭園も同時にライトアップされ、
歴史ある金沢の夜景をゆっくり散策できる特別な時間になります。

イベント期間中には、園内で演奏会などが開催されることもあり、
日本らしい伝統的な雰囲気をより深く味わえます。

写真撮影にも非常に人気が高く、
「夜の金沢」を体験したい方には特におすすめのイベントです。
